Job Summary

Duties
- Manage the full cycle of bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare and record journal entries, ensuring accuracy in debits and credits in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Reconcile balance sheets and perform account analysis to verify data integrity and resolve discrepancies
- Oversee payroll processing using systems such as QuickBooks ensuring timely and accurate employee payments
Skills
- Extensive experience with accounting systems including QuickBooks software
- Proficiency in Excel data analysis for reporting and financial modeling
- Ability to perform detailed account reconciliation and balance sheet review
- Skilled in double-entry bookkeeping and journal entry preparation
- Excellent numeracy skills combined with strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Experience managing accounts payable and receivable processes along with payroll management
- Familiarity with tax regulations relevant to nonprofit or corporate entities
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high accuracy levels
