Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Operate POS systems such as Toast POS and to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and throughout the café environment
- Perform cashiering duties
- Assist in food handling and basic food preparation to support café operations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista with strong coffee knowledge and customer service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems like for seamless transactions
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Strong sales skills to promote menu items and upsell when appropriate
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling
- Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced food industry environment
- Prior experience in serving, food preparation, or café settings is highly desirable
Pay: $12.50 - $17.50 per hour
