BRAND NEW practice opening December 2026 in Lafayette, LA seeking a Lead General Dentist to step into a key clinical leadership role. This practice operates under a private practice model with strong operational infrastructure, advanced technology, and a clear pathway to partnership or ownership.
The office supports a collaborative, high-performing clinical environment focused on comprehensive patient care and long-term outcomes.
Position Overview
The Lead Dentist will provide comprehensive general dentistry while helping guide clinical standards, patient outcomes, and team performance. This role includes mentorship with an experienced owner doctor and long-term growth into equity or ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive general dentistry services (restorative, surgical, preventive)
- Diagnose and treatment plan across a full scope of procedures
- Maintain high clinical standards focused on patient outcomes and experience
- Collaborate with in-house providers and specialists
- Utilize advanced technology to improve efficiency and outcomes
- Support practice growth, leadership, and team development
Practice Highlights
- 12 Operatories
- EPIC software
- 1 front office (Operations Manager), 2 dental assistants, one hygienist
- Full-scope dentistry including: Same-day crowns (CAD/CAM), Implants, Root canals, Extractions and wisdom teeth, Periodontics, Cosmetic dentistry (veneers, whitening)
- Advanced technology environment
- New patients already scheduled in advance for incoming provider
Schedule
- Mon : 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Tue : 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Wed : 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Thu : 8:00 – 5:00 PM
- Fri : 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- No weekends
Compensation & Benefits
- $250,000 – $400,000+ annual earning potential (production-based)

Qualifications
- DDS or DMD from an accredited program
