Position: Aggregate Equipment Operator
Reports To: Plant Manager
FLSA Status: Full Time/ Non-Exempt
Location: Fairplay, CO
Salary Range: $25.00-$34.00/hr DOE
Sign on Bonus: $1,000
Position Summary:
As an Equipment Operator, your general responsibilities will be working with the plant crew loading and feeding a crusher plant and loading trucks. There will be occasional work with Dozers and a Track Hoe. We mine aggregate, crush and classify into aggregates
Functional Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibility involves the safe and skilled operation of the loader and other heavy equipment.
- Strong understanding and daily compliance with Brannan safety standards and policies as they relate to an Equipment Operator.
- Daily compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and policies
- The operator is responsible for the efficient working condition of the equipment and is expected to perform thorough pre-trip + post-trip inspections daily.
- Assists in maintenance and repairs of the plant, conduct daily safety walk around making sure the plant is in safe working condition
- Ensure the plant is running at its maximum efficiency and if it is not, communicate this to the plant manager
- Multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism
- Ability to detect safety hazards and equipment malfunctions and respond accordingly.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Must have a safety first attitude. Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures is required.
- Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the public at all times.
- Ability to work various hours (including night shifts) with overtime
