JOB TITLE: Commercial Custodian - Part Time
EMPLOYER: Level Seven Commercial Cleaning
CLIENT SITE: Clayton County Public Schools campus
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Part-Time, approx. 4 hours/day (school-calendar schedule) typical shift 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
REPORTS TO: Commercial Cleaning Lead; Assistant Operations Manager, Operations Manager, Senior Operations Manager
This position provides focused daytime cleaning support at a Clayton County Public Schools campus during peak breakfast and lunch periods. Attention to detail and a positive attitude are a must. The right person is punctual, thorough but fast, and eager to learn.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Adheres to the company's safety policies, operational procedures, and service standards.

Responds to direction from the Commercial Cleaning Lead and completes tasks as assigned.

Reports repairs and replacements as needed when encountered during service provision.

Breakfast trash collection.

Lunch-period cleanup and turnover, including table and surface wiping.

Trash removal and liner replacement in dining and multipurpose areas.

Sweeping and spot mopping of dining areas.

Restroom inspection, cleaning, and restocking during shift.

Spill and accident response.

Upkeep of entrances, hallways, and other high-traffic areas during shift.

Monitors consumable inventory and communicates re-order needs.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS - CLAYTON COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS CAMPUS
The following requirements apply in addition to the requirements above.

Must pass a Clayton County Public Schools background check prior to being assigned to any Clayton County school campus, and must maintain clearance for the duration of the assignment.

Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, with school staff and administration, and to respond promptly to safety and emergency instructions while on campus.

Commercial cleaning and disinfecting experience a plus.
-
Experience in school cleaning is a plus.

Frequently required to stand.

Frequently required to walk.

Frequently required to sit.

Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl.

Frequently works around cleaning chemicals.

While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds/frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds/continually lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
Pressure washers, ride-on floor scrubbers, and/or carpet and flooring maintenance equipment.
