Pay range: $70,425.00 - $114,440.00/ year

To coordinate the care of breast imaging radiology patients throughout the continuum of care. To serve as the primary point of contact for the breast imaging department. To serve as a clinical resource in breast imaging radiology to the members of the section, patients, their families and other health care providers. To maintain an awareness of exams in process: technician performing the exam, what treatment room and the status/stage of exam completion. To answer the work area telephone. To handle issues and/or delete requests as appropriate.
Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography and three (3) years mammography experience in an interdisciplinary setting required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently registered as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with Breast Specialty (RDMS(BR)), Registered Technologist with Sonography Designation (R.T.(S)(ARRT)), or Registered Technologist with Mammography Designation (R.T.(M)(ARRT)). Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required or should be obtained within 30 days of employment.
