Duties
- Respond promptly to emergency calls for water, flood, fire, and mold remediation projects, demonstrating emergency response readiness.
- Perform water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and mold remediation using specialized equipment and techniques.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, carpet cleaning machines, and company vehicles safely and efficiently during restoration projects.
- Apply safety protocols including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and respiratory protection to safeguard yourself and others on-site.
- Conduct detailed inspections to assess damage severity and document findings using industry-standard software such as Xactimate.
- Assist with cleaning tasks related to fire restoration, flood cleanup, and general property sanitation to ensure thorough recovery.
- Collaborate with clients professionally to provide excellent customer service throughout the restoration process.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and safety procedures followed during each project.
Skills
- Proven experience in the restoration industry or construction background with a strong understanding of safety protocols.
- Knowledge of water damage restoration, flood recovery, mold remediation, and fire restoration techniques.
- Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and other restoration machinery confidently.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
- Familiarity with Xactimate estimating software is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Strong work ethic with on-call coverage availability for emergency response situations.
- Commitment to safety protocol adherence including PPE use and respiratory protection standards.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely in various conditions.
