Job Description:
The primary function of this position is to maneuver tractor trailers for the purpose of loading and unloading products while providing safety and security for the division yard and dock area. It is further required that the above function be completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
This will be done by:
Ensure the safe movement of equipment around the yard and warehouse to and from offsite yards when applicable.
Must be willing to work flexible hours.
Maintain equipment while on site.
Drop and hook tractor to trailer.
Inspects truck for defects, before and after trips and submits reports indicating truck condition.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the proper, complete, and safe execution of the logistics and other associated activities on the site.
Ability to verify unit initials and numbers accurately.
Maintain a safe pace while spotting and pulling trailers/containers from dock doors.
Maintain the integrity of trailers and loads by ensuring that cold chain temperature is adhered to.
Ensure all loads are guarded and sealed.
When carrying out transport and storage activities handle the requirements of the quality management system

Safety Requirements:
This position is considered a Safety Sensitive position.
Able to comply with DOT Clearinghouse regulations and company policies.
Successfully complete road test, regulated drug screen, and clean MVR.
Provide driving record for the last 10 years.
Experience Requirements:
Ability to use computer for yard tracking.
Meet Federal DOT requirements
3+ years CDL Class A driving experience
1-year CDL interstate or on-road experience
No DUI’s within the last 5 years
No major moving violations within the last 3 years
3 years of verifiable consecutive work history
Applicants must be able to read and understand English
