Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technician for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will assist physicians during minimally invasive image-guided procedures while ensuring patient safety, maintaining sterile technique, and operating specialized imaging equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures.
- Prepare patients, procedure rooms, and equipment.
- Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain sterile field throughout procedures.
- Monitor patient condition and provide procedural support.
- Document procedures accurately and follow departmental protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care.
Must Have:
- Experience in Interventional Radiology.
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique and imaging procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to participate in on-call coverage.
Required Experience / Licenses / Certifications:
- Previous Interventional Radiology Technologist experience.
- Current ARRT certification.
- Current BLS certification.
Minimum Experience: 2+ Years
Required License: State License
Required Certifications:
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- BLS (American Heart Association)
