Full Time Day Porter
Further this role will encompass the following responsibilities:

Communicate effectively in English with tenants, visitors, supervisors, vendors, and emergency personnel to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment.

Monitor building security and safety by locking doors after hours, inspecting common areas, and checking electrical appliance use to ensure hazards are not created.

Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of common areas, lobbies, hallways, break rooms, and other shared spaces throughout the day.

Service, clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms.
-
Gather and empty trash and recycling receptacles.
-
Respond promptly to spills, cleaning requests, and other situations requiring immediate attention to maintain a safe and clean environment.

Follow established procedures for the safe use of chemical cleaners, cleaning agents, and power equipment to prevent damage to floors, fixtures, and furnishings.

Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, or using appropriate floor care equipment.
-
Clean windows, glass partitions, mirrors, and other glass surfaces using appropriate cleaning solutions and equipment.
-
Clean and polish furniture, fixtures, and other building surfaces.
-
Dust furniture, walls, machines, equipment, vents, and other surfaces.
-
Restock janitorial and restroom supplies as needed throughout the workday.

Set up and break down meeting rooms, common areas, or event spaces as requested.
-
Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, safety concerns, or supply shortages to the appropriate supervisor.

Perform light exterior cleaning, including maintaining entrances, walkways, and removing litter around the building.
-
Provide courteous and professional customer service to tenants, visitors, clients, and staff while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
