Responsibilities
- Prepare food items efficiently and according to safety standards, ensuring high-quality servings.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and swiftly.
- Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, including taking orders, upselling menu items, and handling cash or card transactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by performing regular sanitation, bussing tables, and ensuring food safety protocols are followed.
- Assist with operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively to support food preparation tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, serving with a positive attitude, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Support retail sales transactions when applicable, including processing cash register operations and handling cash or digital payments responsibly.
- Uphold food safety standards through proper food handling, sanitation practices, and adherence to health regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure quick service delivery during busy hours while maintaining a welcoming environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation is advantageous.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Background in retail sales transactions or grocery store experience is beneficial for understanding cash handling and math skills.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service in fast-paced environments.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation standards is highly valued.
