Position: Shipping & Receiving Lead (Full Time)
We’re looking for someone who shares our values to be a versatile and important member of our webstore/warehouse team. This position will work under our Shipping & Receiving Manager and support with all incoming and outgoing receiving and shipping. The ideal candidate has high attention to detail, enjoys counting and organizing, and enjoys a physical element to their role. This position requires you to be on your feet for the majority of the day and to frequently lift 25-35lb boxes.
Any shipping and receiving knowledge or experience is a bonus but not required.

Position Type: Full Time Hourly (40 hr/week)
The number of hours provided will be at the discretion of Ambient Inks and based on the amount of work available. Scheduled hours may vary on a week to week basis, but are planned to be at 40 hr/week.
Pay Rate:
$17.50/hour (or potentially based on the candidates experience/qualifications)
Primary Roles:
Please note, these roles are inclusive of working closely with many members of the team and different departments. Additional roles and responsibilities, as assigned.
Receiving Primary Roles:
- Checks-in incoming blank apparel goods
- Helps stage blank apparel goods for printing
- Checks-in outsourced goods
- Checks-in incoming e-commerce and webstore stock
- Checks-in printed goods from production
- Ensures all incoming goods meet Ambient Inks’ quality standards
- Records and reports any damaged items, errors, or inaccuracies to the Shipping & Receiving Manager
- Helps stock fulfillment shelves with incoming merchandise
- Is the back up for the Shipping & Receiving Manager and will be trained to have a base knowledge of receiving software and systems
Shipping Primary Roles:
- Pulls, packs, records, and ships outgoing bulk e-commerce and tour UPS shipments
- Pulls and records outgoing tour freight shipments
- Packs and palletizes outgoing tour freight shipments
- Pulls, packs, and records bulk client pick ups
- Is the back up for the Shipping & Receiving Manager and will be trained to have a base knowledge of shipping software, systems, and booking UPS and freight shipments.
Production & Fulfillment Support (as needed):
There may be times during slower logistics seasons that this role would provide support to the production and fulfillment teams as needed. Tasks include but are not limited to:
Production
- Catching apparel items at the end of the dryer
- Folding and packing apparel items
- Other production related duties or tasks as needed
Fulfillment
- Packing and shipping orders
- Pulling merchandise to fulfill orders
- Counting in and organizing incoming merchandise
- Other fulfillment related duties or tasks as needed
Please note, this position requires you to be on your feet for the majority of the day and requires you to frequently lift 25-35lb boxes (up to 40lbs).

Please note this is not a remote position, we will require this individual work on site at our webstore fulfillment facility, 2510 Alpine Road Eau Claire, WI 54703. Reliable transportation is required for this position. We would like this position to be filled by someone living in Eau Claire (or the surrounding area).
