Requirements
We are searching for a candidate with:
A minimum of 2 years of education in electrical and electronic principles (Associate degree or equivalent experience and knowledge required)
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and test parameters
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills related to electronic principles
Proficiency using multi-meters, circuit testers, oscilloscopes, logic probes, and other diagnostic test equipment
Excellent communication skills and a cooperative interpersonal style
Manual dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination
Ability to meet physical job demands and work safely at all times
Elevator industry experience (preferred but not required)
Duties and Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
Performing system and board-level testing and troubleshooting of elevator control systems comprised of digital and analog circuits and microprocessor-controlled logic
Validating control systems to ensure compliance with general functional specifications and contract-specific requirements
Working in conjunction with the Contract Order Engineering Team to modify control systems as required
Diagnosing malfunctions of circuitry, components, or parts and determining appropriate repair actions
Logging failure data, documenting repair results, and preparing required reports
Performing additional duties as assigned
