Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. Applicants need to have at least 2 yrs. of professional grooming experience. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a strong commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering high-quality grooming services that enhance their appearance and comfort. Your expertise in animal care and grooming will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our clients and their beloved pets.
Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling of various breeds of dogs.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during grooming sessions through effective animal restraint techniques.
- Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin to provide appropriate grooming treatments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, including tools and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pet’s grooming needs, health concerns, and any recommendations for care.
- Provide excellent customer service by building positive relationships with clients and their pets.
- Handle animals with care, demonstrating strong animal handling skills to ensure a stress-free experience for both pets and owners.
- Assist in other areas of pet care as needed, including light lifting of animals or equipment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in pet grooming .
- Strong knowledge of animal care, handling, and restraint techniques.
- Background as a veterinary assistant or in veterinary settings is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary (up to 50 pounds).
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing high-quality care.

Pay: $47,368.00 - $62,131.00 per year
