Ophthalmic Technician – Full-Time
Location: Greenville, SC
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Ophthalmic Technician to join our established, one-physician ophthalmology practice in Greenville, SC.
Our practice has a long-standing reputation for providing exceptional patient care, and we are proud to have a team of dedicated employees, many of whom have been with us for years. We are looking for someone who enjoys working closely with patients, values teamwork, and wants to become part of a stable, supportive office.
Schedule
● Full-time
● Monday–Friday
● Typical hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
● No weekends
● Occasional schedule adjustments on surgery days
Primary Responsibilities
The primary focus of this position is ophthalmic diagnostic testing, including:
● OCT imaging
● Visual field testing
● Other ophthalmic diagnostic testing as needed
When other team members are on vacation or out of the office, this position will also assist with:
● Patient work-ups
● Medical and ocular histories
● Visual acuity testing
● Intraocular pressure measurements
● Preparing patients for the physician
Qualifications
Preferred:
● Previous ophthalmology experience
● Familiarity with ophthalmic diagnostic equipment
● Strong communication and organizational skills
● Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
