American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Med/Surg Tele night shift position requiring a TX or compact license and a minimum of 2 years of RN experience.

Med/Surg Tele unit in a hospital setting

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), with potential for alternating 36/48-hour or straight 48-hour week schedules

Patient ratios of up to 6:1

Floating to other Med/Surg/Tele units is required

Block scheduling is not available on this unit

Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Prior travel nursing experience required

Two supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted

The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana testing; a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions — candidates should avoid any substances, including CBD products, that could produce a positive result
