American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Level 3 Nursery experience for a night shift travel assignment in a hospital-based respiratory/neuro diagnostics unit.

Level 3 Nursery (NICU) patient population, including attendance at C-Sections

Intra-hospital patient transports required

Night shift: 4x12-hour shifts, 18:30–07:00

Preferred schedule is 48 hours per week, with flexibility for a 36/48 rotating schedule
-
Every other weekend required
-
2 Fridays worked per 4-week schedule
-
No on-call required
-
13-week contract
-
CRTT or RRT credential required
-
Active LA license required if applicable; pending LA license may be considered for August starts

Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP (NRP required for NICU work)

Level 3 Nursery experience required

Ability to attend C-Sections required

Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration

Copy of Driver's License required for consideration

Any employment gaps exceeding 30 days must be listed and explained

Provide respiratory therapy services including transports within the hospital

Must be able to attend C-Sections as needed

Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate

RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the assignment

Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible for consideration
