Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance coordination, and resident relations to ensure a vibrant community environment.
- Manage lease or rental agreement processes from application screening through move-in and move-out procedures, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations and legal standards such as Landlord-tenant law.
- Utilize property management tools like Yardi and Rent Cafe to track occupancy, rent collections, and maintenance requests.
- Handle client communication with professionalism via phone, email, and in person to address inquiries, resolve conflicts, and upsell available units or services.
- Coordinate property maintenance activities by liaising with vendors and on site maintenance to uphold safety standards and property appearance.
- Must be able to take part in various on site activities such as unit turnover, snow removal, and curb appeal.
Skills
- Proven experience with property management software such as Yardi, Rent Cafe, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of legal administrative processes related to leasing and property management.
- Knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person.
- Skilled in conflict management.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities with strong organizational skills in office settings or on-site .
