Duties
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting innovative dish ideas and modifications

- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, and cooking appliances
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation
- Support catering events or special functions with meal preparation and serving as needed
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service environments such as restaurants or catering operations
- Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient prep
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production
- Experience with dietary department procedures or dietary aide roles is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Basic understanding of menu planning, meal preparation, and food handling protocols
