Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist for our new DMG machines. This role requires strong setup and troubleshooting skills to produce precision components to tight tolerances. The ideal candidate will be able to interpret complex blueprints, plan machining operations, and complete full setups from start to finish with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Perform complete setups including tooling, offsets, and part verification
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and work instructions
- Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure dimensional accuracy
- Optimize feeds, speeds, and tool paths for quality and efficiency
- Maintain equipment and a clean, organized work area
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of CNC mill machining experience preferred
- Experience operating and setting up DMG machines required
- Proficiency in G-code programming and on-machine editing
- Ability to perform full setups independently
- Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials
- Experience using Haas machines is a plus
