Boom Hawaii Builders LLC is looking for a highly motivated, hands-on Field Carpenter / Cross-Trade Specialist who takes pride in quality workmanship, problem solving, leadership, and jobsite execution.
This is NOT an entry-level labor position.
We are looking for someone who understands residential construction at a high level, can move projects forward without constant supervision, and wants to grow with a company focused on professionalism, efficiency, and long-term opportunity.
The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, physically capable, detail-oriented, and understands how different trades come together to complete a successful project.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Finish carpentry and detailed installation work Layout, framing corrections, blocking, punch list execution Cabinet installation, trim work, doors, hardware, siding details, backing, and finish work Read and interpret plans, elevations, details, and specifications accurately Coordinate with subcontractors and help maintain production flow Identify problems before they become delays Maintain clean and organized jobsites Material handling, staging, and jobsite logistics Assist with cross-trade work when needed Ensure work quality meets company standards Communicate clearly with project management and field crews Work independently while also functioning well within a team environment
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong carpentry background Finish carpentry experience preferred Ability to read plans and understand construction sequencing Cross-trade knowledge highly valued Self-starter mentality Highly motivated and dependable Positive attitude and solution-oriented mindset Ability to adapt in a fast-paced field environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Pride in workmanship and attention to detail Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift, carry, climb, and work in outdoor conditions. Must have carpentry/construction tools.

- Concrete/formwork knowledge Drywall and backing experience Window and door installation Project coordination or foreman experience Equipment operation Punch list and project closeout execution Estimating/material takeoffs Ability to lead small crews
