About the Role at RobCo
RobCo is building the category of Autonomous Industrial Robotics and we're doing it fast. We believe that automating the ordinary frees humans to do the extraordinary, and we're building the end-to-end robotics infrastructure to make that possible - hardware, software, and AI in one stack that just works. With our pipeline scaling across Europe and North America, our marketing engine needs to be as precise and reliable as the robots we build.
At RobCo, we automate the ordinary, so humans can do the extraordinary. To achieve this, we are looking for our first Sales Development Representative (SDR) in Austin, Texas to help establish RobCo in the North American market. This is not a back-office SDR role - this is a foundational position with direct impact on how we enter and scale in the US.
You will play a key role in building our US pipeline from the ground up, shaping our market positioning, and working closely with leadership to define what scalable success looks like in this region.
Your Mission
Build and own top-of-funnel pipeline generation for the US market
Identify and engage target accounts within our focus industries (manufacturing, automation, industrial technology)
Develop outbound strategies tailored to the US industrial landscape
Qualify inbound and outbound leads and convert them into high-quality sales opportunities
Work closely with Marketing and Field Sales to align messaging, campaigns, and market feedback
Provide structured market insights from conversations to refine ICP and positioning
Help shape our US go-to-market motion during a critical expansion phase
Your Responsibilities
Market Builder:
Proactively identify and engage decision-makers at manufacturing companies, OEMs, and automation leaders across the US.
Outbound Strategist:
Design and execute multi-channel outbound campaigns (email, phone, LinkedIn, events) adapted to US buyer behavior.
Opportunity Creator:
Qualify prospects, understand technical requirements, and generate high-quality meetings for the sales team.
Cross-Functional Connector:
Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Sales leadership to ensure messaging resonates with the US market.
Feedback Loop Driver:
Translate market signals into actionable insights to sharpen positioning and GTM strategy.
We're looking for someone who has:
1–3 years of relevant experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or a comparable client-facing commercial role
Proven track record of achieving outbound or pipeline generation targets
Experience selling into manufacturing, industrial tech, automation, robotics, or complex B2B environments is a strong plus
High ownership mentality and comfort operating in an early-stage market-entry setup
Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with technical and executive stakeholders
Structured, data-driven working style with familiarity in modern sales tools and prospecting platforms
Entrepreneurial mindset with the motivation to help build something from scratch
Why This Role Is Different
This is not a traditional SDR role in a mature market.
You will be part of RobCo’s US expansion journey - shaping our presence in one of the world’s most competitive industrial markets. As the first SDR in Austin, you will help define processes, influence strategy, and lay the commercial foundation for long-term growth in North America.
