Duties
- Monitor and patrol designated areas using CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches
- Conduct thorough inspections of personnel, visitors, and packages to prevent theft and unauthorized access
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies with professionalism and confidence
- Enforce security policies by controlling access points and verifying credentials for all individuals entering the premises
- Provide first aid or CPR when necessary, assisting injured persons until emergency services arrive
- Manage conflict situations with tact and conflict management skills to de-escalate potential threats
- Document all incidents accurately in detailed reports and maintain security logs for accountability
Skills
- Proven experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles with a focus on armed security operations
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance techniques, and loss prevention strategies
- Certification in first aid and CPR to respond effectively during medical emergencies
- Strong conflict management abilities to handle tense situations calmly and professionally
- Familiarity with security protocols, access control procedures, and emergency response plans
- Excellent observational skills combined with attention to detail for surveillance and inspection tasks
- Ability to remain alert during night shifts while maintaining high levels of professionalism
