Controls Engineer – Siemens PLC - Warehouse Automation - 12 Months

Job Description
We’re looking for experienced Controls Engineers to support industrial automation projects throughout the United States.
This position is suited to a hands-on Controls Engineer with strong Siemens PLC experience who can program, modify, troubleshoot and commission automated equipment onsite.
We're open to candidates from a wide range of industrial automation backgrounds — previous warehouse automation experience is not required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and modify Siemens PLC programs
- Program PLC logic from scratch
- Perform PLC upgrades and modifications
- Troubleshoot controls and electrical issues onsite
- Commission automated equipment and systems
- Debug PLC logic during system startup
- Interface with commissioning and electrical teams
- Troubleshoot sensors, motors, drives and field devices
- Support systems through testing and customer handover
Requirements
- Professional Controls/Automation Engineering experience
- Strong Siemens PLC programming experience
- Siemens S7 / TIA Portal experience preferred
- Ability to program PLC logic from scratch
- PLC troubleshooting, modification and debugging experience
- Industrial automation experience
- Experience commissioning equipment onsite
- Willingness to travel approximately 30–50%
