IMMEDIATE HIRE! (CLASS A CDL REQUIRED)
A Yard Hostler is responsible for moving trailers in and out of specific locations using a yard goat.
Pay: $25/ hr.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Transport/move trailers to and from yard location.
- Maintain accurate reports and logs.
- Must maintain safe driving record.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable DOT, Company, State, and Federal policies/laws regarding traffic, safety, hours worked, and drugs and alcohol.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must have excellent customer service skills, phone skills, and basic computer knowledge.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to complete a background check, including FBI criminal history, employment background, and pre-employment drug test.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be U.S. citizen or provide proof of right to work in the U.S.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Driving record with no more than 6 points.
Education & Experience:
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year Yard Jockey experience*
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs at a time.
- Prolonged periods sitting in a trailer cab for long periods of time.
