Travel RN - Emergency Dept

Job Details

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an active RN license and ACLS/PALS certifications.

Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or Compact)
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
No prior experience required, though previous nursing experience is preferred
Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety measures
Strong communication and collaboration skills with care team members
Comfort with computer systems and applications or ability to be trained

Provide direct patient care including assessments, treatments, and care coordination for ED patients
Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge activities
Deliver patient and family-centered education
Delegate and oversee tasks performed by other care team members
Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures
Promote a positive, healing environment through teamwork and communication
First-time travelers may be considered given no experience requirement
