Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Houseman to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Remove dirty linens from guest rooms and take them to laundry
- Deliver clean linens to housekeepers
- Ensure all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms, are kept clean and well-maintained.
- Assisting housekeepers by making sure all supplies are stocked
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management promptly.
- Take trash to dumpster
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to maintain high standards of hygiene.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient workflow and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial work is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and floor care techniques is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
