Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide essential personal care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Your active engagement will help foster a warm environment where residents thrive physically, emotionally, and socially.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents with dementia or memory care needs, including Alzheimer's care and behavioral health support
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to aseptic techniques during procedures such as catheter care and wound management
- Assist with feeding residents requiring help with meals or special diets in accordance with care plans
- Collaborate with nursing staff on patient service plans for post-acute care, hospice care, or acute care situations
Qualifications
- Valid CNA certification/license in good standing; experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
- Demonstrated experience in long-term care settings such as nursing homes or assisted living communities
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medical documentation practices
- Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks; experience with Epic is a plus
- Ability to perform basic life support (BLS) and adhere to infection control protocols including HIPAA compliance
- Prior experience in critical care environments such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers is advantageous but not required
- Strong caregiving skills with a focus on geriatrics, behavioral health, dementia care, and pediatrics when applicable

CURRENT OPENINGS:
- 30 hours per pay period = day shift (6am-2:00pm)
- 45 hours per pay period = evening shift (2pm-10pm)
- 60 hours per pay period = evening shift (2pm-10pm)
- 75 hours per pay period = NOC shift (10pm-6am)
- 60 hours per pay period = NOC shift (10pm-6am)
Shift differentials of either $.75 - $1.50 per hour added on for any evening shift or NOC shift, and is currently not reflected in the posted hourly pay rate.
Pay: $20.37 - $24.00 per hour
