- Join our small business as an Equipment Operator/Laborer and become a vital part of our construction projects! You will be required you to operate a variety of heavy machinery and construction equipment to support excavation, grading, utility work, and site development. Your knowledge will help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest of standards. - This position offers, skill development, and hands-on experience with industry-leading equipment less than 5 years old.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy machinery including excavators, dozers, loaders, water trucks, dump trucks, and equipment to perform excavation, grading, utility installation, and site preparation tasks.
- Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on all construction machinery to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety procedures.
- Assist with construction utility work such as utility locating and installation.
- Support construction site by performing general labor tasks, including material handling and site cleanup.
- Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery including excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, backhoes, water trucks and dump trucks (On occasion)
- Strong mechanical knowledge for routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to perform construction utility work such as utility locating and installation accurately.
Familiarity with construction site experience including the use of various tools and machinery for utility work and infrastructure development.
Pay: $18.00 - $36.00 per hour
