Job description
We are looking for a professional security officer to protect our premises, assets, and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, observe, and report.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
- Maintain privacy and confidentiality.
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
- Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property.
- Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences.
- Report in detail any suspicious incidents to dispatch immediately.
- Patrol site randomly or per locations direction to retain a presence throughout the shift.
- De-escalate all situations to acquire a safe and peaceful outcome.
- Proven work experience as a security officer or relevant position.
- Ability to operate walkie talkie equipment.
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
- Integrity and professionalism.
- Can provide their current guard card and CA drivers license.
- Bilingual is always a plus.
- Professional respectful demeanor and appearance.
- Strongly follows company's code of conduct.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be reliable and have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to maintain a high-level of accuracy, be a quick learner and work independently.
