As a Customer Service Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member with edwin mata - State Farm Agent, you’ll play a key role in creating the kind of customer experience that keeps people loyal for years. WHAT YOU’LL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES)
In this role, you’ll be a go-to resource for customers—answering questions, handling updates, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks. Day to day, you will:
Provide excellent customer support by answering incoming inquiries (phone, email, and/or in-person) with warmth, clarity, and efficiency
Explain coverage and policy information in a way customers can understand, helping them feel confident in their choices
Assist with policy changes and updates, including reviewing requests, verifying details, and ensuring updates are processed accurately and on time
Support the claims process, helping customers understand next steps, gathering needed information, and following up to keep things moving
Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions and policy activity to ensure compliance, smooth service, and great continuity across the team
Coordinate with other agency team members to solve issues quickly and deliver a seamless experience
Anticipate customer needs by spotting opportunities to proactively help—whether that’s identifying missing information, recommending a review, or offering next-step guidance

QUALIFICATIONS
We’re looking for a combination of strong customer service instincts and a commitment to doing things the right way. Ideal candidates have:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (you’re comfortable talking with many different types of people)
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy environment
Previous customer service experience (preferred)
Property & Casualty license (required) and willingness to obtain your Life & Health license
Bilingual (Spanish)
