Position Summary
Orchard Medical Management is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Sales Specialist to drive business development and expand our growing RCM division.
This role is ideal for someone who has worked in medical billing, revenue cycle operations, healthcare consulting, EMR software, or healthcare technology sales and understands the financial and operational challenges facing physician practices.
The successful candidate will combine healthcare operational expertise with consultative selling to identify opportunities, educate prospective clients, develop customized solutions, and close new business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities with physician practices, specialty groups, FQHCs, ambulatory surgery centers, and healthcare organizations.
- Build relationships with physicians, practice administrators, CEOs, CFOs, and revenue cycle leaders.
- Conduct discovery meetings to evaluate current billing operations, workflows, denial trends, staffing challenges, and technology needs.
- Present Orchard Medical Management's full suite of Revenue Cycle Management services, including:
- Medical Billing
- Medical Coding
- Accounts Receivable Management
- Denial Management
- Revenue Cycle Optimization
- Executive Reporting & Analytics
- Revenue Cycle Automation
- Practice Management Consulting
- Develop customized proposals and ROI presentations demonstrating financial improvements.
- Collaborate with internal RCM leadership to develop client-specific solutions.
- Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting through contract execution.
- Maintain accurate CRM documentation, forecasts, and sales activity.
- Stay informed on reimbursement changes, payer trends, healthcare regulations, and emerging healthcare technologies.
- Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5-10 years of healthcare industry experience.
- Minimum 3 years of business development or consultative sales experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical billing and the healthcare revenue cycle.
- Experience working with physician practices or healthcare organizations.
- Demonstrated success developing and closing new business.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel throughout New England as needed.
