Advanced CNC Operator – Programming Experience Required

Pay: $22–$35 per hour (based on experience)

Are you an experienced CNC Operator with strong programming skills looking to take the next step in your career? We’re hiring a hands-on, advanced-level CNC Operator to join a growing and reputable manufacturer in Redford, MI.
This is not just a machine operating role — we need someone with proven experience programming CNC machines directly at the control, including editing, setting offsets, and optimizing production.
What You'll Do:
- Program CNC machines (mills/lathes) using G-code, M-code, and/or conversational controls
- Set up tooling, fixtures, and workpieces for various jobs
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T specifications
- Perform inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools
- Troubleshoot machining issues and contribute to continuous improvement
- Work collaboratively with the production and quality teams
What You’ll Need:
- CNC programming experience is a must — at the control or offline using CAM
- Solid understanding of machining principles and inspection methods
- Experience with HAAS, Fanuc, or similar controls
- Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring equipment
- 3–5+ years of hands-on CNC operating and programming experience preferred
