Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance to customers on powersports parts, accessories, and maintenance products to ensure their needs are met with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Assist customers in selecting the right parts by leveraging product knowledge, automotive diagnostics skills, and understanding of vehicle maintenance requirements
- Manage inventory control by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and utilizing inventory management systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track parts availability
- Process sales transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems while maintaining accurate cash handling and cashiering procedures
- Negotiate with customers to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service and communication skills
- Collaborate with the dealership’s marketing team to promote special offers, new products, and upcoming events to boost retail sales
- Maintain organized displays and ensure the store environment is clean, safe, and inviting for all visitors
Qualifications
- Previous dealership or retail sales experience in powersports or automotive industry highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, automotive repair, and automotive service practices
- Proficiency with inventory management tools such as CMMS and Microsoft Excel for stock tracking and order fulfillment
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual abilities are a plus) to serve a diverse customer base effectively
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, inventory control, and order processing
- Experience with POS systems, retail math, cash handling, cashiering, and phone etiquette required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional customer service standards
- Dealership experience combined with marketing knowledge will be advantageous
