Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. As a key leader in early childhood education, you will design and implement developmentally appropriate curricula, manage classroom activities, and support the social and emotional growth of children. The hours for the positions we have available are opening and closing positions. We also need someone willing to do the pick up and drop off at the lock elementary schools. A valid Florida drivers license is required with an age of at least 25.
Duties
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and childhood development.
- Collaborate with families to support child welfare, communicate progress, and address individual needs related to special education or early intervention services.
- Manage classroom activities efficiently, ensuring smooth transitions and adherence to educational standards.
- Implement classroom management strategies to maintain an organized learning space conducive to active engagement and learning.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools when appropriate to monitor developmental milestones and learning progress.
- Support toddlers’ care routines and contribute to their social-emotional growth through nurturing interactions.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, with a strong background in early childhood education.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, staff, and community partners.
- Ability to manage classroom activities confidently while maintaining a warm and supportive environment.
- Relevant certifications in early childhood education or childcare are required; additional training in child welfare or tutoring is advantageous.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
