We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems, including CCTV.
- Ensure the safety and security of all individuals on-site by enforcing rules and regulations.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid as necessary.
- Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks.
- Manage conflicts effectively by employing conflict management techniques.
- Report any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required for investigations or emergencies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in law enforcement or loss prevention is preferred.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment and monitoring systems (CCTV).
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A military background is considered an asset but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and interaction with the public.
