Summary:
Corrosion Engineering is seeking a Welder/Fitter who is responsible for fitting up parts according to blueprint and also weld when help is needed.
This position is a temp to hire position. Benefits and other company perks will be available once 520 hours of work have been performed. Early morning shift (4:00 AM – 2:30 PM) Monday - Thursday (10–12-hour shifts). Fridays and overtime when necessary (depending on company needs).
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Use layout tools such as C squares, levels, etc.
- Fit components as necessary according to blueprint
- Know how to read schematics/work order/blueprints with no issue
- Help with welding process when needed
Requirements:
- 2+ years of fitting experience required
- FCAW Dual Shield Flux Core w/ Gas experience required
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
- Know how to read a tape measure to the nearest 1/16th
- Able to lift a minimum of 60 pounds
- Able to kneel, bend, and squat to perform required duties
- Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled area
- Must be able to work in a loud area
- Punctuality and reliability
- U.S citizenship is required
