1) Follow and enforce all plant safety rules and policies.
2) Follow and comply with all operational procedures/policies as stated in the employee Environmental Health and Safety programs and conduct Team Safety Talks as required.
3) Follows and supports and Magna’s operating principles, including:
a. Magna Employee Charter – Operating under its principles by treating all team members equally, fairly and with dignity and respect.
b. Abide by Kamtek policies and procedures as described in the most current version of the Employee Handbook.
c. Open Door Policy – Solves issues with two-way, open and friendly communication.
d. 5S – Maintains and promotes good housekeeping by following the philosophy “Everything has a place. Everything in its place”.
e. Safety First - Obey the plant’s safety rules and procedures by wearing PPE at all times and immediately addressing all safety concerns. Promotes an environment where zero injuries are the expected standard.
f. Promote MAFACT benchmarks to achieve World Class Manufacturing.
g. Core values – Treat all team members equally, fairly, with dignity and respect without favoritism in accordance with company values.
h. Attend and participate in Team, Department, Plant-wide and any other meetings as required.
i. Conduct all activities in a professional manner and positive attitude with an emphasis on personal responsibility.
4) Audit quality paperwork for accuracy/completeness (daily)
5) Inspect product to requirements defined on the end of line checklist and the quality inspection forms.
6) Communicate quality issues with product to Quality and Area Team Leader / Supervisor.
7) Follow up with the setup of rework and sort methods for quality concerns/containments.
8) Ensure containments and certification requirements are met in a timely manner.
9) Audit and report out on NCM material.
10) Green Dot Audits: TLCQQ, Tagged, Loaded properly, Closed, Quantity, Quality. Tag matches the part, parts are loaded correctly, rack is locked, full rack with right quantity, no visual damage or noticeable missing components, feel check for dents, dings, buckles, dirt. Push all issues immediately back to the production line to drive better parts.
11) Dock Audits: TLCQQ, Tagged, Loaded properly, Closed, Quantity, Quality. Tag matches the part, parts are loaded correctly, rack is locked, full rack with right quantity, no visual damage or noticeable missing components, feel check for dents, dings, buckles, dirt.
12) Pass down to communicate shift concerns. (End of shift notes)
13) Interface with engineering and quality to resolve quality concerns.
14) Customer/Vendor travel for rework/sort etc…, or otherwise directed by supervisor
15) Maintain Quality alert folders and concern matrix using Kamtek Manufacturing System
16) Conduct daily audits for production parts and process in accordance with the layered process audit system
17) Inspect and audit finished product prior to shipment. Verify correct labeling and product certification.
