Daritech is looking for a detail-oriented draftsman to join the team! The ideal candidate will turn conceptual designs into accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings for fabrication and manufacturing projects. This work will guide the production and fabrication teams to ensure everything is built correctly, safely and thoroughly documented.
Key responsibilities
-Create detailed technical plans, models and assembly drawings using AutoCAD and Solidworks
-Develop instructional manuals, user guides, and assembly documentation for customers and production teams
-Maintain systematic digital archives of all drawing revisions, bill of materials (BOMs), and project documentation
-Convert rough hand sketches, notes, and verbal instructions into digital drawings
-Add exact dimensions, material specs, tolerances, and manufacturing instructions into every design
-Review drawings to find errors, interferences, or missing information
-Update and revise blueprints as project needs or fabrication changes occur
-Collaborate closely with project managers, fabrication specialists, and shop teams
Qualifications & Skills
-Associates degree or technical certification in drafting, mechanical design, or a related field
-Proven experience using computer- aided design (CAD) software, specifically both AutoCAD and Solidworks
-Strong technical and writing skills with experience creating assembly or operation manuals
-Strong understanding of fabrication standards, math and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
-Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and organization for file management
-Good communication and teamwork skills

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
