Key Responsibilities :
- Work safely and maintain equipment safety.
- Primary owner of manufacturing operations (including maintenance) and facilities/asset management.
- Work in conjunction with Production Supervisors to improve and manage day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant.
- Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with laboratory, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to optimize production processes and resolve issues.
- Responsible for improvement projects and capital projects to ensure capacities and capabilities are aligned with company growth.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity/efficiency, reduce waste, improve quality, and improve safety/ergonomics.
- Implement operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, especially safety and environmental.
- Manage the maintenance process for assigned plant.
- Manage the plant budget, including cost control and resource allocation, to achieve financial targets.
- Primary owner of staff development.
- Prepare and present regular reports on plant performance, including production output, safety incidents, and operational challenges, to senior management.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required hands-on, technical, or other types of training to perform the job:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the chemical industry or similar environment.
- Strong understanding of chemical manufacturing processes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Chlor-alkali experience
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay: $139,000.00 - $173,000.00 per year
