Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our manufacturing team. Duties
- Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery safely, adhering strictly to safety protocols and standards.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to assemble components accurately according to technical drawings and production documents.
- Manage heavy lifting and manual handling tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and assembly lines to identify issues and support process improvements.
- Interpret technical drawings, assembly instructions, and production documentation to ensure precise execution of tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the manufacturing facility, including warehouse areas, to promote a safe working environment.
- Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and assisting in implementing lean manufacturing practices.
- Collaborate with team members and management to meet production targets while ensuring quality control and safety compliance.
Experience
- Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience with hands-on mechanical assembly or equipment operation.
- Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, manufacturing documents, and measurement data.
- Experience with warehouse operations, forklift operation, or other material handling equipment is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including lean manufacturing principles and safety protocol adherence.
- Demonstrated ability to use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and mechanical assembly techniques effectively.
- Prior experience managing or supporting production or assembly teams is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with technical proficiency in operating manufacturing equipment and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
