As a key contributor, you will manage essential bookkeeping functions, support financial reporting, and uphold accounting standards. Your expertise will help us maintain transparency, accuracy, and efficiency across all financial activities.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including data entry, journal entries, and account reconciliations using accounting software such as QuickBooks Online.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of all account balances through detailed account analysis and general ledger reconciliation.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions promptly while maintaining compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and organizational policies.
- Maintain detailed records of financial transactions, including debits & credits, journal entries, and ledger updates in accordance with accounting standards.
- Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements to provide clear insights into organizational finances.
- Assist with budgeting processes by tracking expenses against budgets and providing insights for financial planning.
- Conduct regular account analysis and account reconciliation to ensure the integrity of financial data across all systems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role with strong knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping principles.
- Proficiency in popular accounting software such as QuickBooks Online.
- Solid understanding of corporate accounting practices.
- Demonstrated ability to perform bank reconciliations, general ledger accounting, and account analysis accurately.
- Familiarity with financial concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, and financial report writing.
- Experience processing payable/receivable workflows efficiently.
- Strong skills in spreadsheets for data analysis, budgeting support, and report generation.
- Excellent attention to detail coupled with the ability to work independently within deadlines while maintaining high accuracy levels.
