Associate Furnace Operator
Staffworks is hiring an Associate Furnace Operator!
Pay: $20.90/hour (includes 10% shift differential)
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM–12:00 AM
What You'll Do

Assist with setup and operation of vacuum atomization furnace equipment

Prepare raw materials and operate furnace controls

Perform cleaning, monitoring, housekeeping, and minor repairs

Assist with furnace lid, coils, crucibles, and equipment maintenance
-
Use electric hoists and work at heights up to 60 feet
-
Follow all safety, EH&S, PPE, and respirator requirements
What We're Looking For
-
U.S. Citizenship required due to government contracts
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills
-
Reliable attendance
-
Ability to work overtime when needed
-
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. independently
-
Comfortable working at heights and wearing a respirator
-
Ability to stand, bend, lift, squat, twist, reach overhead, and climb stairs for extended periods
