Weekend Night Dispatcher
Greenville Executive Limo Service (GVL Limo) is looking for a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Weekend Night Dispatcher to join our team.
Schedule
- Friday – Sunday
- 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM
- Must be available to train during daytime hours before transitioning to the regular weekend night schedule.
- Weekend availability is required.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor and coordinate daily transportation operations during the night shift.
- Dispatch drivers and assign trips efficiently.
- Monitor driver locations and trip statuses.
- Communicate with drivers throughout the shift and respond to operational needs.
- Handle last-minute changes, cancellations, delays, and customer requests.
- Monitor airport trips and flight information.
- Update trip information accurately in the dispatch system.
- Communicate professionally with drivers, clients, and management.
- Assist with resolving issues quickly and calmly.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all trips are properly updated for billing and customer notifications.
- Monitor company communications and respond promptly to calls and messages.
Qualifications
- Previous dispatch, transportation, logistics, customer service, or scheduling experience preferred.
- Must be comfortable working independently during overnight hours.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be dependable and punctual.
- Computer proficiency required.
- Ability to remain calm and professional when handling unexpected situations.
- Must be willing and able to complete daytime training prior to working the regular Friday–Sunday night schedule.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is reliable, alert, organized, and able to take ownership of the dispatch operation during the weekend night shift. The right person will be comfortable communicating with drivers, monitoring multiple trips at once, and making decisions without constant supervision.
This is a weekend position, and the Friday–Sunday 6:00 PM–2:00 AM schedule is required.
