Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Independent Social Worker-Clinical Practice (LISW-CP), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic mental health team. Duties
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Deliver individual, child & family counseling, and youth therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy.
- Implement crisis management strategies and crisis intervention techniques to ensure client safety during acute episodes.
- Utilize telehealth platforms to provide remote therapy sessions while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards.
- Engage in clinical research activities, data collection, and treatment outcome evaluations to continually improve service quality.
- Document all patient interactions accurately within Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems following medical documentation standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on treatment planning, case management, and coordination of care for clients with co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as an LPC, LISW-CP, or LMFT with current state certification or license to practice independently.
- Proven experience in psychotherapy, mental health counseling, or clinical social work with children, adolescents, or adults.
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic evaluation processes using ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) and familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes.
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, PTSD, addiction issues, or chronic pain is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and behavior management strategies across inpatient, outpatient, or clinic settings.
- Skilled in providing trauma-focused therapy, grief counseling, gender issues counseling, and specialized pediatric or geriatrics care as needed.
- Excellent communication skills for client engagement and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams; experience with telehealth therapy platforms is preferred.
- Knowledge of clinical documentation standards, medical terminology, HIPAA compliance requirements, and ethical guidelines for mental health professionals.

Pay: $27.00 - $34.00 per hour
