Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you won't just run scans—you will be a vital part of the diagnostic journey, comforting patients through the process and collaborating directly with radiologists to deliver high-quality, impactful results. What You'll Do (Duties):
- Deliver Excellence: Perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with physician orders and strict safety protocols.
- Prioritize Patient Comfort: Prepare patients for their scans by explaining procedures clearly, answering questions, and easing any anxiety.
- Ensure Accuracy: Expertly position patients for optimal image capture while keeping their comfort a top priority.
- Maintain Quality Control: Ensure MRI equipment is functioning perfectly, troubleshoot minor issues, and maintain a safe, aseptic environment.
- Keep Accurate Records: Document patient information, procedures, and results with high precision.
What You Bring (Qualifications):
- Credentials: ARRT (MR) certification or equivalent registry from an accredited imaging program.
- Expertise: Strong command of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and MR safety protocols.
- Technical Savvy: Hands-on experience operating modern MRI machines (experience with CT or sonography is a great bonus!).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills and an empathetic, patient-first mindset.
- Adaptability: The ability to thrive and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced clinical setting.
