Data Metalcraft is looking to add a Quality Inspector to grow with our team!
Data Metalcraft is a manufacturer of formed sheet metal and welded cabinets used in fiber communications, power grids, and industrial products. Our products utilize a broad range of materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel.
Responsibilities:
- Inspection of Received Purchased Materials
- Final Inspection and Approval to ship for Finished Product
- Performing First Off Inspections for WIP in Timely Manner
- Completing and Documenting First Article Inspections and PPAPs
- Completing CoC documentations
- Ensure that all the quality standards put in place by the company are followed during every production phase.
- Collaborate with Engineering on Internal Markups and Alterations
- Create documentation for quality results and issues Including RMA’s, NCR’s, DMR’s, Inspection Entries
- Educate production employees on quality control and work with department supervisors and managers to improve overall company quality and safety.
- Create and Maintain Inspection Procedures
- Approve and Retain Operational Work Instruction Master Sheets
- Maintain and calibrate the tools used to inspect products
- Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace
- Follow company procedures and directives
- May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
Requirements:
- Faro Arm Experience a Plus
- Basic Functional Knowledge of Measurement Equipment
- Good communication skills
- Proven history of understanding quality expectations and industry safety standards
- Detail oriented
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and Drawings
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of ERP systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Softwares
- Able to work well within a team environment
Qualifications:
- Must be able to spend long periods of time on feet standing or walking
- Must be able to lift, up to 50lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Four years of experience in relevant production position
- Pay Frequency: Weekly

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
