Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate roofing crews on commercial projects, ensuring work is completed on time and within scope.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to guide installation processes accurately.
- Operate and oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and other construction equipment safely and effectively.
- Perform quality control inspections to verify adherence to safety standards, building codes, and project specifications.
- Manage daily site activities including heavy lifting, material handling, and coordination of subcontractors when necessary.
- Ensure all work complies with safety protocols; conduct regular safety meetings and enforce OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers for scheduling, procurement of materials such as roofing membranes or metal panels, and troubleshooting onsite issues.
Requirements
- Must be an experienced heat welder.
- Proven experience in commercial roofing projects with strong knowledge of roofing systems and installation techniques.
- Extensive construction site experience including framing, carpentry, caulking, stucco application, masonry, or restoration work.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and understanding construction drawings.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, tile saws, and fabrication machinery confidently.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and material takeoffs for project planning.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights; comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Prior leadership experience as a foreman or supervisor on construction sites preferred; excellent communication skills are essential.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
