Job Summary
Responsible for managing projects and other team members, reading and understanding drawings, communicating with project managers, suppliers, vendors, subcontractors, tradesmen, other trades, planning/preparing for upcoming work, documenting work progress and processes, and finalizing testing and commissioning of all systems in accordance with all applicable codes.
Essential Job Functions
· Reading and understanding drawings and specifications. Interpret other trade drawings such as architectural, structural, and electrical as needed for coordination.
· In depth knowledge of codes and standards governing the work.
· Identifying conflicts, finding collaborative solutions, and tracking changes for as-builts.
· Assigning work to other team members and confirming the work is completed correctly.
· Ordering materials, equipment, and requesting labor, tools, and fabrication equipment in advance of scheduled work on the project
· Scheduling and maintaining schedules for all subcontractors and vendors.
· Attend and contribute to all foreman/subcontractor meetings and provide all relevant look aheads and schedule information
· Work with superintendents and/or owners representatives to support the interest of the company and maintain relationships.
· Work in conjunction with project manager to ensure timelines are met, issues are identified and resolved quickly, changes are captured, and all tasks related to completing the project within the labor and material allotments.
· Receiving deliveries and communicating with shippers for schedules
· Reporting on project deficiencies to provide change orders or alternate solutions.
· Tracking manpower for specific tasks against available timelines and hours.
· Documenting work in progress and completed work for As-Builts and project closeout.
· Supporting equipment startup and commissioning requirements.
· Training apprentices and journeyman for tasks required to complete the work in conjunction with safety manager.
· Identifying key personnel and placing them in the best position to support project success
· Capable of instructing workers of all skill levels
· Knowledge of safe practices for the work and identifying safety hazards.
· Conduct and document weekly toolbox talks and execute any JSA’s or JHA’s.

Qualifications, Experience, and Education
· Minimum 5-15 years field experience in commercial and industrial projects
· Intimate knowledge of processes, procedures, tools, and equipment utilized to complete commercial and industrial installations.
· Be familiar with foreman procedure and capable of executing its requirements.
· 10 Hour OSHA Certified; 30 Hour OSHA Certified; First Aid; CPR. In addition, you will be required to attend courses in managing field personnel, coordination with other trades, managing personalities, and additional courses related to foreman activities.
· Intimate knowledge of trade systems, equipment, installation, and code requirements.
Computer and Equipment Skills
· Advanced skills with Microsoft applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and/or other web-based applications. May produce complex documents, perform analysis, and maintain databases.
· Use of online teleconferencing software (e.g., Zoom or Teams).
Pay: $48.00 - $60.00 per hour
