The position of the Shift Lead is critical in supporting the successful execution of store operations, and a leader in the development of our people and our guest experience. In partnership with the retail leadership team, you will be accountable for leading and supervising daily operations and achieving business goals. You will set the tone for the teams by demonstrating expert knowledge, provide motivating and inspiring leadership, deliver first-class guest experience, driving sales results and uphold regulation compliance.

Minimum of 1yearsof management experience

Preferred cannabis experience

Must be 21 years of age and comply with all local, state, and company regulations

Required to undergo a criminal background check and appropriate state badging (as directed by state ordinances)

Learn and understand Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations

Ability to work independently and on a team, communicating effectively on the job through daily logs and using the chain of command.

Ensures that the Sales Floor and Displays are properly stocked

Maintains and updates online and in-store menus throughout the day

Performs all POS/Inventory System duties, front and back of store functions including register opening and closing procedures, ensuring cash handling procedures are adhered to and is accountable for store cash during their shift

Assists Store Manager in maintaining proper Sales Floor coverage and staff schedules ensuring that the store maintains adequate customer service standards and staff take meal and scheduled breaks

Acts like a Role Model and actively sets an example for staff and ensures that all policies and procedures are followed

Provides feedback to Store Manager on team performance during his or her shift

Responsible for receiving and responding to internal communication

Maintains appropriate grooming and uniform standards

Be the voice of The Sanctuary Dispensaries and accurately and professionally represent our core values and morals

Keep any relevant logs up to date and compliant with local and state regulations

Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Helps support other facility employees and staff by performing other tasks as apparent or as delegated by MOD.

Always maintain strict confidentiality of customer/patient information

Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information, including financial summaries and internal employee materials.

Attend mandatory training and staff meetings
